The technical rehearsal was a chance for the crew to make sure all of the cues were correct, all of the set pieces worked, and the props were on hand. We were using the main stage and had only three hours to get everything right. There was another production waiting to do the same thing in the afternoon, and, of course, there was a performance that evening.
Everyone was on edge, and I tried very hard to stay out of the way by clinging to my little shelf space near the wall. I had my score open and was ready to make notes if anything changed, and to make sure Nicole didn’t forget anything.
