THE SON OF VALERIA

CHAPTER 4

Today the day is already planned for, I'm woken up by the speaker informing us to get ready for the morning run and for some unknown reason today I feal reguvinated ,maybe is yesterday's encounter that triggered my brain back from vacation.

Breakfast was great that I couldn't stop to look at the others . Now we are heading for the gets of the great abyss of theory,hope I'll survive to tell the story the biology teacher enters the class and then a group of masculine soldiers follow pushing a trolley table carrying a carcuse if a terrortone the thing was huge the size of a van and it oozed of a green substance that not only made it both scary but also gross .

The biology teacher a young madam just about three to five years older than me by the name Anna Mandriano seemed childish but behind those ocean blue eyes stood a woman of iron with great knowledge that could make a mad man sane .

"Today we are going to dissect our specimen here ,so everyone pick the section you wanna dissect per group." Madam Anna said with her soft encouraging voice.

Our group being the nerd club end up with the things excretory organ . What I liked about our group was our ability to make good of what we have , since Evan knows more about the terrortones he is to be the brain and me and Emmah the muscle something I enjoyed , as we're dissecting our section I get the advantage of seeing the girl side of Emmah which keeps kicking in everytime a liquid splatters out of the specimen. What I'll like most is when she screams with her feminine voice before regaining her composure.

Emmah is the first one to discover that the terrortone specimen was a female something that shocks even Anna since in her research she had concluded that the terrortones were sexless just like in ants a s****l queen is born ones in a while with a few s****l males who will mate to bring rise to the next colony.

I begin feeling the same feeling of losing control of my body like last night then without thinking I say with a loud voice I say ," No its a male ."everyone looks at me and Ispot the tension in Emmah as she crunches her teeth hard .Then it happens again and I find myself watching my own body unable to control it .I begin speaking against my will contradicting both Emmah's statement and all that Anna had taught us in the previous lesson." It's a male the thing is the their sexes seem to have fused but the difference is that the males s*x appears more distinct like a female since when the female fuse it vanishes completely but when the male fuses since it's too big thus when it fused it left a residue that if looked from far it's a female organ but when you dissect it ," my hands went on to dissect the specimen and to my shock I see a testicles instead of ova I'm shocked by my own knowledge . As I explain the tension that had been building up in the room turned into shock even me from the back seat of my brain I was shocked of what my brain knew that I didn't. After a while I gain control of my body but the damage caused is irreversible so the thing I could do was just to let the turn of events sink in and destiny decide my fate .

A few minutes pass after the lesson ends at luncheon all eyes are on me ,I can literally hear their thoughts as they scream ,"look at him he things he knows all why didn't he become an instructor like Anna ."

I walk to our corner and their Emmah looks at me and I can't tell if his happy or angry but as for Evan sensing the tension between me and Emmah looks at his plate as if we don't exist." That was a good one you pulled in class Nathan you showed them whose team is in charge ,"I can't believe what I'm hearing Emmah for the first time regarding my existence I feel a thrill of excitement building up in my stomach wishing that some great forces would pull me into deep space so I can scream out the excitement. Although the stunt I had pulled in class couldn't have been devastating if reported Anna instead gave our team a perfect A+ since I had made a discovery but my instincts felt it was more of ordinary knowledge I had known all my life.

Next is weaponry class my favorite today as is we are taught how to hold the different types of death despensers and Micheal tests out some for us to see them in action .

The lesson ends quickly and I go to my relaxation zone , although I look relax Infront of the others I'm more disturbed than I look, the thought of last night's incident and today's that comes to prove that it was never a dream and the soft female voice in my head that kept calling me Nova the just didn't add up or was I really running amock .

The thought keeps me so occupied that I don't here the signal for supper time,when I finally realize where I am ,I run to the dinning hall late for the second time Ina row ,this time Emmah was the one inquiring where I was coming from,"Hey mister where do you always go to after arms lesson and end up coming for dinner late ?" She ask her Sapphire eyes looking straight into mine ,for a minute I feel like they are looking deep into me waiting for the slightest lie ,but I found the courage to lie to her face ,"I usually oversleep in the boys dorm." She buys the lie but doesn't seem convince.

The combat lesson is was alittle productive as I managed to get to the first check point while the rest reached the second.

Tonight I'm not in the mood for any adventure but as I sleep on my bed facing up the voice from last night begins it's tormenting plea ,"Nova don't leave me please! Come back Nova ... don't do it it'll kill you ?" This went on so I decide to see what was in the ship that may have been causing this to me .

I got out and went towards the ship at my own will,but just as I'm standing next to the fence that separates the two sections thinking maybe this might be a bad idea ,I loose control of my body again and it's like am watching a video game playing my body on its own will as if being controlled by another person with a remote control jumps over the fence goes to the ship which opens when I get near it and I move into the ship ,the interior was made of a material that looked like highly refined gold, but it was nothing like our space shuttles or aeroplanes it looked like it was an organism with very few control and a holographic screen. The ship immediately acknowledges me as Nova ones more something that is not at all shocking after the last time .

A crystal floating in mid air in a structure that looks like two angels with wing almost touching catches my attention and my body moves towards it I stand next to it then my arm outstretches towards it I try with all my strength to stop it but the force in control is much stronger than I ,the hand touches the crystal and the golden light it was emitting seems to move into me and the crystal falls onto the floor breaking ,the sound of the crystal breaking seems to remove me from my truns and I manage to gain control of my body just then a structure that looked like a huge egg at the laft side of the ship close to the entrance light a bright red then begun opening ," holy Mary I've just realized the father of the terrortones or is it another queen both ways I've killed us all . My dumb curiosity has finally killed us all!" Thoughts ran in my mind and then I begun feeling dizzy. When the egg structure opened the bright red light seemed to turn purple blue like the flames then a lady the most beautiful I've ever seen even Rihanna and Emmah didn't stand a chance fused together comes out of it naked and begins moving towards me ,but what makes me scamper backwards for safety before loosing my balance and falling down is when I spot a pair of colourful wings that look like an eagle's wings attached to her back she moves towards me calling me Nova ,her voice was the same as the one that was ringing in my head .She is naked and her body is covered by a slimy liquid from the egg ,she reaches for me ,am on my knees paralyzed with shock and fear ,she holds me her face close to mine so that I could feel her strawberry breathe and see through her crystal sky blue eyes that dazzle in the dim golden light of the ship as tears swelled in them ,then he wispers ," I knew I'd find you finally, I miss you Nova." Then without warning kisses me then says," don't worry love it'll all make sense in time am here now and this time I ain't loosing you ,I'll be here when you need me ,I'll make you remember us ."And with that she kisse me ones more and then I here from within me a voice saying Ariel andthen she kisses my forehead and fades like a burnt paper blown by the wind and it turns to ashes that fly of but his were golden dust , my dizziness increases and as my conscious fades away I here shouting of people saying," what was he doing in here? Maybe the thing that was in the cacoon may have attacked him and ...." Everything goes black .
