Chapter 21 Dom was in such a good mood he found he didn’t even care that he had to cradle a glaring Mother in his lap all the way to Yolks on You. He and the goose had a strained relationship at best, and although Kiko often told him he was overreacting, he still wondered when the bird would decide it was time for him to go. The sight of Mother attacking was enough to give anyone nightmares. “Do you think Sander likes Mother?” he asked as Kiko pulled into the lot. “Dom,” he said, “I know you’re in a good mood, but I’d rather not have to deal with charges because you decided to encourage Mother to take a chunk out of Sander’s nose.” “It’d be good for business for the next week.” “No,” said Kiko, slamming the truck door and walking around to take the goose from Dom.
