“I wonder where Hailey went,” said Kiko as they exited the building into the bright morning light. Dom could smell breakfast foods on the air from the stands that sold such things and his stomach grumbled. “If she’s still hanging around, maybe we could talk to her.” “Why?” asked Dom, spotting a booth that sold sausages wrapped in pancakes. He steered them in that direction. “She hates us, she wouldn’t talk to us.” “Maybe she would,” mumbled Kiko, sounding like he was thinking. “A lot can change in a day.” “Yeah, sure.
