"Luna! Wake up honey," Laura shakes Luna awake.
"I'm up, I'm up" Luna says
"it's time"
"for what?" Luna asks.
Laura gives Luna a sad smile, and Luna remembers that today is the auction day, she is two months old (two human years) which is the time to be auctioned to a trainer until she dies, or is set free.
Luna is a black dragon, with hints of purple and white on her horns, claws, and underbelly armor. She has eyes the color of stormy clouds, big wings, and four legs.
She is only 11ft tall, which is small for a dragon her age, especially a nightdragon. She can breath, fire, ice, and smoke, shoot venom from her teeth, and poop diamonds.
Luna gets up and washes neatly, brushes her tail, and cleans her claws. She and Laura fly to the auction center, which is being held at the Forest of Beasts.
When they get there, they sign in and give details. She waits in line as the auction starts. female by female, until it's her turn. She gives Laura a hug and walks up onto the stage.
Right when the auctions start, Laura cannot bear to see Luna auctioned, so she flies up to the stage, and starts to fight everyone. In minutes, she is shot down by a crystaldragon.
Luna looks at her dead mother and weeps. Sadly, and still crying, she continues the auction to avod the same fate.
