“I’m really happy you agreed to come with us,” Kale said as we walked into the mall, his voice practically buzzing with excitement.
“Yeah, I can’t believe you even wanted to refuse a free shopping spree,” Kenzie added happily, looping her arm through mine.
It’d been more than a week since I had slept in the same bed as the Alpha. After that night, things went back to the usual routine — he would summon me, we would do what he wanted, and then I’d leave.
