Chapter 29 Nora’s POV Aunt Clara lived forty minutes outside the city in a quiet stretch of countryside where the roads narrowed into long winding lanes lined with old oak trees and uneven stone fences that had existed longer than most of the people driving past them. The house sat back from the road behind a rusted iron gate that never fully closed properly anymore, surrounded by a garden that looked wild at first glance until you noticed how carefully everything had been placed.
