Nora's POV
The weekend Mia’s friend, Jade came over was the first time the penthouse truly felt lived in.
Jade arrived just after noon wearing oversized jeans, bright sneakers, and box braids decorated with tiny gold cuffs that clicked softly whenever she moved.
The second Mia opened the door, the two girls exploded into laughter so loud it echoed through the apartment.
“You actually came!” Mia shouted, throwing herself at her friend.
“You thought I was joking?” Jade laughed back, hugging her tightly.
“Girl, I practiced dancing all morning.”
“The whole thing?”
