Chapter 26 Caleb’s POV On Sunday afternoon, I drove to the Willow Creek apartment for the first time since everything fell apart, although I hadn’t planned to. Lately, I’d gotten into the habit of driving without a destination whenever the penthouse started feeling too quiet and cold. The silence there pressed against my skull in a way that made it impossible to sit still for long, so I drove. Sometimes downtown, sometimes nowhere.
