Darren was surprised at Kyley's act but didn't push her back. The latter hugged hin tight as though afraid he would disappear if she didn't.
Darren was at first left stupefied as his mind went blank. He had no idea what brought about Kyley hugging him, and Darren for some reason, felt his heart starting to quake.
However, he soon recollected himself. He didn't mind and just allowed Kyley to hug him tight. If anything, he was glad that Kyley was fine.
He knew she had hugged him just now because she was glad that he had chosen to take her back.
Darren just put his hands around her slightly slender back and held her warmly in his embrace with a wry smile plastered on his face.
