Time to remember and rumble part 1

I pay for my skates and everyone clears the track. As much as I wanted to beat him for making me mad and for everything that happened, I’m doing this for Akari. Alyssa adds some paint in the shape of a rose on my face and hugs me. “You can do this just picture it’s that jerk Ex of yours.” I smile and nod my head to the girls. As I step onto the track, I can see Diablo smirking and looking confidently. “You already know you’re going to lose so why try, let’s just skip this and I’ll take my date.” “In your dreams, I said, holding my fist up.” “Alright, I want a clean match!” The referee said, “The rules are, knock the other unconscious or get them to forfeit and you win.”

I looked up to see the lights begin to flash, meaning that the match was about to start. *Ding*, *Ding*, *DING*. As soon as the light flashes green, Diablo takes off at full speed like he isn’t gonna get tired soon. I go at a normal pace but still try to catch up. “Guess you want to lose to make me happy.” He says with a dumb look on his face.

“In your dreams!” I say as I’m balling my hand into a fist. I speed up my pace a little to get behind him, then I grab him by the collar of his shirt and pull back. Using my left foot, I trip him. As he’s falling I turn my right foot and push off from him, swerving out of the way. He lands on the ground with a hard thud. “Oops, my bad did that hurt?” I said, taunting him. I can hear the crowd cheering and I see Akari smiling just a little. He gets back up and gives Akari a dirty yet flirty look.

He catches up to me and he finally gets a good swing at me knocking me to the ground. As I fell I twisted my ankle. It hurt but I had to win. I got back up and brushed it off and went back after him. We kept going at it for a while. I hit him and he hit me until finally, my ankle couldn’t hold out anymore and I came crashing down. I couldn’t skate anymore. I was pissed that I had to forfeit.

“Well then, since I won I’ll pick you up in two days for our date.” He said, blowing a kiss towards me. I was still on the ground when I slammed my fist down in anger. “I can’t believe I lost to that smug bastard!” “Hey, it’s going to be alright,” Akari said, placing her hand on my back. “No it’s not ok, I lost and I know he is going to hurt you again!” I can remember it like it was yesterday, her actions, her personality, everything about her changed after what he did.

*Akari’s P.O.V*

I loved Diablo, but he tended to lose his temper. One day, I had gotten home a little late and he accused me of cheating on him. I told him that I was just out with my friends but he didn’t believe me. He kept raising his voice, till he was screaming at me. I began to cry and kept defending myself, but he slapped me, calling me awful names.

I tried to leave after he slapped me but he caught me by the arm and sat me down, then he softly caressed my thigh edging up my skirt, whispering in my ear that he was sorry and that he didn’t mean to. I shoved him away but he came back stronger. I kicked my legs at him so he couldn’t touch me again, but he grabbed them and pulled back. I fell off the chair and he sat on top of me holding my arms in place. He began to kiss me and force himself on me. I don’t remember anything after that. I must have passed out. The next thing I knew, I was tied up to the bedpost naked.

I had been there for a few days. He came in every so often to give me food and water, and to r**e me. The only reason I’m here today is because of Alyssa. She knew something was wrong when she didn’t hear from me, so she had come over to check on me. When the doorbell rang, he gagged me and then he answered the door saying I hadn’t been home for a few days and he had tried to file a missing person’s report but there hadn’t been an update. I struggled to get a sound out so she could hear me. All you could hear were muffled screams.

“What was that sound,” Alyssa said. “What sound? He said, blocking the doorway. She shoved him to the side causing him to hit his head and ran into my room. “What the hell!” She said when she saw me. She took out the gag and I let out a sob. She undid the binds and hugged me tightly. I told her what happened and she lost it. “Whatever you do, don’t leave this room until I come and get you.” She said in a stern voice. I nodded and stayed put. A few minutes passed by and then she came back with blood on her face. “We need to go now!” She picked me up and carried me out. On the way out, I saw him laying on the floor with a beaten and bloody face.

She took me to the tavern where the others were. I told them all what had happened and they got mad. “No one messes with my girls!” Hilda said, giving Akari a warm embrace. We all head out to go to the blackjack territory to deal with what will happen next. We arrive at a vacant lot. It looked like just another normal apartment building, but this one was all but normal. It was a place to kill. Three people were killed in cold blood just because they were bored and there was almost a fourth victim, but he had escaped.
