I dried my hand looking at the dishes I had just finished washing as I walked towards the room turning off the light on my way out. I stepped into the bedroom closing the door behind me as the sound of the shower echoed throughout the space. I immediately walked into the bathroom stripping out of my clothes quietly wanting to surprise her, my gaze appreciating her blurry silhouette showing through the glass.
I slid the glass door to the side and she turned her head looking at me the puffiness of her eyes clueing me into the fact that she had been crying.
