ex boyfriend

Melissa was in the kitchen Making then supper while Tamia was flicking through the channels looking for a good show to watch. Just then... " Breaking news. It has been reported that Mark Antony who was the ex boyfriend of the serial killer Melissa Whites was found dead in his confinement. The agent was arrested following accusations that he was helping the criminal by erasing the data collected by the FBI. That leaves us wondering, why would the wanted criminal Melissa Whites get rid of him? Did he serve as a threat now that he was arrested or Is there more to this story that we don't know? Stay tuned to find out more." Melissa, who was in the kitchen, smashed a glass against the wall. How audacious! Getting rid of Mark and blaming it on her? She could not help but blame herself. If she didn't go looking for him to help her with the case, then Mark would still be alive. Just then, her phone pinged indicating an incoming message. She was about to read it when Tamia approached her, hugging her softly. " They are really playing a bad game on you." Tamia expressed her opinion. " I know! But they are getting worse every minute!" Melissa said and hugged her back. " What are you going to do?" Tamia inquired. She could not help but feel worried about her friend. Melissa was one of the most loyal and sincere people she had met. She could not help but wonder what grudge those people held to make her life impossible. " They say when Life serves you lemons, turn them to a f*****g lemonade and that's exactly what I'll do. If they think they can put me down by accusing me right and left, then they are greatly mistaken. I will make them dance to my tune one day. And when I lay my hands on them, they should pray to the devils they worship because I'll make them regret ever touching the people I love." Melissa replied. Tamia could not help but admire her friend. She knew that Melissa was strong and determined. She was afraid of nothing. She would always be ready to protect the ones she cared about. That was the Melissa she knew and loved. " Just know that I will always be here for you. Whatever you need, all you need to do is ask." Tamia said, patting Melissa's back. " Thanks Tamia." Melissa replied with a soft smile. Tamia knew that Melissa's smile could light up an entire city, but her smile now seemed so tired and down. Melissa's smile had always been the kind of smile that could take your breath away. With the issue with her mates and now the death of her friend Mark, she must be feeling awful. But still she chose to fight and stand up for what was right. Tamia felt blessed to have such a friend like Melissa. Mark Antony who was her friend and once the reason for her smile was gone but she could not think of any better thing to do but to hunt those monsters and end their pathetic lives herself. That would be the biggest justice she could give to Mark. " Thank you," Melissa said. " Okay, we should have dinner and rest early. Tomorrow, I'll make sure to catch information from that bastard. I think Lorenzo has a thing with Mark's death." Melissa spoke. Tamia was about to reply when the doorbell rang. " Who could it be? Do you think that your mates have already found out about it and are here to comfort you?" Tamia asked, making Melissa frown. " Comfort me? I think Mason will be celebrating. He never liked Mark. Besides, I don't think they will knock. This is their house." Melissa replied. " I'll go check." She added but Tamia stopped her. " No, I'd rather check myself Incase things go wrong and the police find you." Tamia offered before smiling assuringly at Melissa who then nodded. Tamia made her way to the main door and opened it. When she saw who it was, she immediately wanted to slam the door in their faces. She turned to Melissa who was staring at them wide eyed, like a deer caught in headlights. " What?" Melissa asked. " I don't know him. I have never seen him." Tamia replied. " Then ask him what he wants." Melissa urged. " What do you want?" Tamia asked and he just nodded before proceeding to ignore her. " Hey! You can't just ignore me. You better answer if you don't want me to call the police." Tamia shouted to the man who had already made his way to the house. She was actually not alarmed since she Saw a look of worry on his face. Ofcourse, she did not miss how his eyes widened in surprise before he regained his composure. Her wolf on the other hand was not composed as she tried to portray. As she followed the man inside, she could not help but scan him with a frown. Among all creatures, why him moon Goddess? Why her mate? Why not someone else , or perhaps a lady? What was she going to do with a Man? Distracted by those thoughts, her body collided with a hard wall making her hiss in pain while rubbing her nose. " Are you okay? I'm so sorry." The man asked. Melissa came running towards her and when she saw that she was okay, she started laughing at Tamia's predicament. " Justin, what are you doing here?" Melissa asked after containing her laughter. Seeing her smile, Tamia could not help but smile too. " Well, I just wanted to know how you are doing, considering the incident with Mark." Justin said and Melissa sighed. " I'm okay. You don't have to worry about me." Melissa replied but how could Justin see the sadness on her face. The four of them were friends and although Mark was human, they had a good relationship. " I can't believe they did that to Mark. His body was unrecognisable. He had countless bullet holes." Justin explained. Before the news was broadcasted, he had got a tip from the office and went to see Mark's body before it was taken to the morgue. He could not believe someone would be so ruthless to rain so many bullets on someone. " We are not dealing with normal people here Justin. I don't want you to fall in their hands too. I think we should stop seeing each other for now. Who knows they might be keeping tabs on you. " Melissa spoke but Justin shook his head. There's no way he would stop seeing Melissa, not when he has another reason to visit their place. " Don't worry about me. I can take care of myself." Justin defended himself. Melissa looked at him for a moment before turning to Tamia who was staring at the man. " You don't like him do you?" Melissa mindlinked Tamia with a smile and Tamia nodded. " Something feels off with him." Tamia replied. " You don't have to worry, I have known him for sometime to know that he can be trusted." Melissa said through the mindlink. The two ladies turned to look at Justin only to find him staring at Tamia with a peculiar gaze. The two cleared their throat simultaneously. " What is your plan? Are you still going back to the office?" Justin asked. " More than ever, I need to find whoever is doing this. We need to put a stop to this before Nora people get dragged into this mess." Melissa answered seriously and Justin nodded. " It's no longer safe in this country. You don't know who will die next. It's scary." Justin commented and the two ladies nodded in agreement. The three of them decided to watch a movie before calling it a night. Melissa excused herself first leaving Tamia alone with the man. Justin looked at the door after it closed behind her. " Why are you hiding your true identity from Mel?" Tamia asked, her eyes narrowing at Justin. " What do you mean? I'm not hiding anything." Justin said and Tamia raised a brow. Lies! All lies! She could never be wrong about what she felt. If the man before her was her mate, then there's no way in hell he is a mere human. That's absurd and unbelievable. " Don't lie. I know what I am talking about. I have known many creatures in my life, including the ones who are able to smell a lie." Tamia retorted. Justin stared at the lady for a moment, as if deciding whether to tell the truth or lie to her. Afterall all , he had also identified her as his soulmate. But how would he explain to Melissa that he is not what she thinks he is? She would think he's crazy. But this woman knew him better than anyone, so lying would be of no use. He could only pray that she wouldn't say anything to Melissa. " Okay, I am not a human." Justin conceded. He waited to see the woman's reactions to his confession but there was not even a hint of surprise on her face. He could not help but marvel at her ability to conceal her emotions. " Tell me something I don't Know." Tamia replied with a straight face. " How did you know?" Justin asked and she rolled her eyes at him. " My father used to tell me stories when I was little. If I wasn't paying attention, I could feel your heartbeat. It's nothing human." Tamia replied. " What are you?" She asked and Justin sighed. " A vampire." He replied and Tamia stared at him before bursting out laughing. " Why is everyone so shocked about that? Aren't vampires the most popular in your folklore?" Justin asked. " No, I'm not laughing because you are a vampire, I am just amused that of all creatures, why did the moon Goddess choose a vampire to be my Mate." Tamia said. The look on her face hurt Justin. For centuries, he waited patiently for his soulmate. Now that he found her, she was not happy! Was this a punishment? But for what? Even as a vampire, he never did anything bad, except for feeding on humans. But he always made sure to compensate them well and erase their memories. " You despise me?" Justin asked, a look of hurt on his face. Tamia turned to look at the gorgeous man in front of her. Actually, it's not the first time she saw a vampire. Infact, her current lover is a vampire. She just didn't expect to find ger mate so soon and happen to be a male. " No, I don't despise you. I hate everything with a dick." Tamia said in all seriousness. Justin could not help but stare at her. He could not see her face because of the dark but from the back, he could make out that she was staring at the floor with a pout on her face. A pout! Why would a woman who was a mate of a vampire look like a sad child! " It's not like we will be doing anything together." Tamia spoke again. " What do you mean?" Justin asked. A soulmate, how could they not do anything? Is she being serious? He could not help but wonder. " I f**k ladies not men." Tamia spoke, making Justin choke on his saliva. What the hell? But before he could say anything, the door to the room was pushed open and two men entered.
