The drive back to the pack was silent, just what I needed. I needed to think how to salvage the situation better for our mate, Mason and I. Knowing how hot tempered Melissa is, she might not be ready to listen to us and would probably insist on going back to the city.

Having a fight with our mate is the last thing I want, especially now that we are investigating the serial Killing happening.

Rage and fear are the emotions bottling up in me. I can't believe we made such a mistake by not telling Melissa about our past. We were so happy, living our life that we forgot all about that b***h.

Just thinking about her makes my blood boil.

I hate even having her linger in my thoughts even for a minute.

That woman is the root cause of all the problems we have with Melissa and the reason why I am the rogue alpha twin.

" Don't worry alpha Theo, Melissa will surely come around." The woman besides me said in an attempt to calm me down.

But how can I calm down? There is a possibility we might lose our mate and although I proposed to take all the blame, that might not be enough for her to stick around.

Melissa hates betrayal the most, that I learnt after knowing her for some time yet we betrayed her in the worst way possible.

Turning to face Tamia, I observed her for some time before looking away.

" Does Alpha blame me for what happened at the club?" The lady asked, reminding me of the passionate kiss she shared with our mate or should I say the passionate kiss she received from my mate?

" How can I blame you? I am a rational Man and I can tell what happened." I replied. How can I blame her when she did so much for our mate?

Although taking Melissa to the club was a bad idea, at least she kept her company when she needed someone to listen to her.

She was there to report to us about our mate's whereabouts.

How can I blame her?

Do I have the balls and heart to blame her?

" Actually, Mel was hurt badly by what Bianca said to her. I did not hear what she was told nor did she tell me about it but from her sadness and pain, I think it was nothing pleasant. What she did was out of rage and anger. She did not mean to hurt your feelings." The Lady explained giving me the impression that she still thought I was mad at her.

I wanted to be mad at her the moment I saw our mate kissing her but I managed to stop myself.

At the end of the day, we are in this situation because of our recklessness.

" It's all our fault. If we told her earlier about it, we would not be in this situation today. I actually forgot about Bianca long ago, I don't want to think about her. Although at some point she was our wife, that's in the past and we already severed all relationships between us. I just didn't expect her to come back and cause a rift between us." I lamented.

If I had not pushed those thoughts away from my mind and told Melissa about our marriage with that worthless creature, things would not have come to this.

" I think you are right. You guys messed up big time." Tamia honestly confirmed my words.

" Do you think there is still a chance?" With my gaze on the road, I asked.

Maybe I can get an opinion from a third party whether we still have hope in this hopeless situation.

" What?" The woman asked with furrowed brows. Maybe because she did not hear my question properly.

" Will she forgive us?" I rephrase the question.

In my heart, I wish things can settle and go back to how they were today in the morning.

I can't believe that things have changed so much in a span of less than twenty four hours.

" Don't worry Alpha. Although Melissa is hurt, she will never leave you. She might be angry but that is not enough to hate you guys. At the very least, you guys are mates. The mate bond won't allow her to stay away from you guys. All you have to do is explain everything. Make sure you tell her the truth. You already hid something from her, make sure you don't tell a single lie. She loves you both too much, otherwise she would not have been hurt by the news about your marriage.

More than the pain of hiding things from her, I think that she is more jealous." The woman replied, making me snap my eyes at her.

" You mean…"

" Yes, Alpha. Melissa is actually jealous that your first wife is the person you guys love more. She is sad that you loved another woman before her and that she has a special place in your hearts." Tamia explained.

Now that she narrowed down everything, I think I know what to do to appease our mate.

" So you mean that if I want to earn her forgiveness, I must assure her that she is the woman we Love most and cherish? That our marriage with Bianca does not mean anything? We have to convince her she is only the one in our hearts?" I asked, my voice full of excitement.

Tamia nodded with a smile.

" But that's not all." She said, making me frown at her.

"You have to eliminate the root cause of your problems. Bianca has been staying abroad for years. Her purpose of returning to the country and to the pack is pretty obvious. She is here to draw a wedge between you and your mates. You must not let that happen.

As long as she is living here and Mel keeps running into her, there will never be peace in your relationship."

The car came to a halt just as Tamia said her last word.

" I understand. Thank You." I said, giving her a genuine smile.

" Don't mention it. Mel is my friend, of course I want her to be happy. Alright, I'll make my move now. Farewell alpha." With that, she stepped down and headed to her house.

I zoomed off to the one place I must visit before going to my mates.
