“Don’t be. I mean, I was confused, first off, then mad for a while. Your brother’s a wolf, I know it. He made my manager back down. There’s no way letting another customer deal with that sort of situation is anywhere near protocol, and yet no one interfered with him.”
“Yeah, that’s my brother. Not the least bit surprised he pulled that off. Has she bothered you since?”
“No. Once she knew you’d broken up with me too she backed right off. I haven’t heard from her since. It’s only been a week though, so you never know what might happen in the future.”
