Epilogue
A computer pinged an alert, calling the attention of the man at the other end of the room. Coffee in hand he returned to the machine and read over the newly generated report. He sipped his coffee, nodding along as his eyes moved across the screen. When he finished reading he set down his coffee and picked up his phone.
Though it was quite late his call was answered promptly by a man with a gruff voice. “What is it?”
“The program found something.”
“About the security breach?”
“Yes, sir. And we’ve managed to track the signal back. The results weren’t surprising, but we went ahead and pried a little further and uncovered the information you wanted.”
“How much information?”
He skimmed the report again and smiled. “Everything, sir, we’ve got everything.”
