Allegra drew the door closed until it clicked behind her. She had just left Aidon’s room with an agreement to be back later on for a late lunch. They both needed to shower the stench of horses on their person. She also knew she needed to keep her brother occupied otherwise he could wander off into her lounge to see what had become of it. She trekked back to her room purposefully. She now had the task of thinking up how else to occupy Aidon’s time for the rest of the day. She walked into her room and immediately threw her phone onto the nearest chair so she could begin to peel away the sticky layers of clothes from her sweat-dampened skin.
