When I arrived at the lab, I found Amber delivering afternoon snacks for everyone. The entire project team was included, and she called everyone to the main hall to grab something.
Understanding the importance of team cohesion, I joined them. Almost immediately, Amber pulled me aside, her expression concerned.
"Viya, are you okay after last night? Alpha Blackwood can be... intense sometimes. Don't take his words to heart."
