Mason POV
The tension slides off my shoulders as I reach our house. It did not matter that Carina said everything was fine at home. I could not relax until I saw it for myself. I shift back, accept a pair of shorts from one of the guards and enter the house.
“Mason!” Carina gasps and hastily walks towards me. “Love, you’re soaking wet.”
“Because it’s raining,” I quickly kiss her.
“I know that,” she rolls her eyes. “I was sympathising. Let’s get you into a warm bath.”
“I’d rather have a shower, thank you,” I grin. “Baths are for girls.”
“Men,” she rolls her eyes and turns away.
“Eloise!” She calls. “Please run Alpha Mason a bath and make sure you add extra bath salts.”
“Yes, Luna,” she replies.
“What are you trying to do?” I grab her arm. “Smother me with perfume?”
