Hilda walked in the front entrance like a woman on a mission. She hadn’t visited with her mother in a few days because of her already busy schedule, so she was going to make sure she got some time in this morning. She put her bag in her office and hung her jacket. Gert was probably making her final rounds before ending her shift. She went to the kitchen to pick up her coffee and her mother’s juice.
