Stellah walked up the hallway and passed Alice’s door. She opened it just to peek in. She looked at the form laying in the bed. She listened quietly and heard steady breathing. Closing the door she headed on down the hall to start her rounds. It was mid morning and she had several floors to tackle before lunch time. Bryn was on desk today, yesterday she ran the circuit. They had their plan and it worked great for them. Since Bryn took lead, the shift ran more smoothly. And it didn’t go unnoticed. Bryn told Stellah that Hilda had requested she come see her a few days ago. Hilda has been busy so it hasn’t worked out but she was pretty sure Bryn was going to get a raise or something.
