Her mother promised her she could go play as soon as she got done with her chores. She had a lot of them today. Her sister wasn’t feeling well and her mother put her in bed. So she had to do both of their chores. Alice had a habit of daydreaming, so it took her a bit longer to get done with everything than it would normally.
