Chapter 21

Nora POV

It’s 6pm when we drive into the underground parking lot of the hotel. I look at Colin and blush when he turns his head to me.

“Pick something you want to wear later, you can change in the penthouse and freshen up if you like.” He squeezes my thigh and it gives me tingles in my core.

“Where are we going then?” I ask while trying to keep my cool.

“I’m taking you out for dinner. Take something with you for the cold.” He smiles and gets out of the car. A few seconds later he opens my door and helps me out before he opens the trunk and I search for an outfit to take upstairs. After a few minutes I have found the blue dress that we bought first and a beige, loose knitted cardigan. I put them in a bag together with a white bra and a simple white, brazillian boxer. I grab the bag from the make-up store and take the white, peep toe heels with me. Colin closes the trunk and takes all of the stuff I have in my hands.

“Thank you.” I smile shyly and he shows me his white teeth. We walk to the elevator and he types in the code. A few seconds later the doors open, we get in and go up.

“If there is anything else you need just tell me and we will get it, ok?” Colin stares at me and I look down.

“I think you’ve spent enough money on me today Colin. There’s over a thousand dollars worth of clothing and other stuff in your trunk.” My cheeks turn red when I think about it. He grabs my chin and lifts up my head to look me straight in the eyes.

“Nora, I told you before and I am telling you again. I want to do this for you and there is nothing you can do to change my mind about it, do you understand that?” He says sternly and I nod. The doors open again and I walk out before him. He disappears into the back and comes back a few seconds later.

“I’ve put all of your stuff in the bathroom, you can change there.” He walks up to me and wraps his arms around my waist. I lean up to him and kiss him softly as I wrap my arms around his neck. His tongue pushes against my lips until I part them and he caresses my tongue with his. A minute later I pull myself away from him and he just looks at me with a warm smile.

“Thank you. For all you’ve done for me so far.” I say before I give him a quick kiss on his lips and when I try to pull away I feel him strengthening his grip on me.

“You’re welcome. Now go change before we’re late for the reservation.” He places a soft kiss on my neck before he lets go of me and slaps me on my ass as I walk past him. When I look over my shoulder I catch him staring at me while he rubs his chin. I walk into his bathroom and take off my clothes before I go to his shower. It falls to me that there are so many buttons and handles and I whine as I try to get it on. I grab a towel that was neatly folded on a shelf and wrap it around my naked body to go back to the living room where Colin is sitting on his couch. When he looks up and sees me I notice a look of lust in his eyes and I feel my cheeks blush again.

“I-I don’t know how your shower works.” I stutter with my head down and I hear Colin getting up from the couch. He stops in front of me and cups my head in his hands and lifts it up.

“Don’t be embarrassed, baby doll. Come on, I’ll show you.” He chuckles and takes my hand to lead me back to the bathroom. He turns a few buttons and the water starts running and steam starts to form.

“Here you go.” He gives me a kiss on my forehead and goes to the door but stops and turns around again.

“Or do you need any more help?” He grins and I look at him over my shoulder with a smirk on my face.

“I’ll manage, thank you.” I say innocently. I drop the towel on the floor and step into the shower, only showing the back of my body and I hear him groan. The next moment I hear the door close and when I turn around I see that Colin has left the bathroom and I chuckle. I quickly wash my body and try to leave my hair dry. After I have dried my body I put on the lingerie and the dress and retouch my make-up a little bit. I take my phone and send a text to Eliza.

Nora: Hi, I’m just letting you know that I will be home late. Colin is taking me out for dinner. Xx”

I check myself in the mirror before I put my other clothes in the bag and take it with me into the living room. My phone rings and I see it’s from Eliza.

Eliza: “Ok boo, enjoy your night. ;) xx”

When I look up from my phone I see Colin coming towards me and the butterflies in my stomach are going crazy.

“You look beautiful.” He says as he takes me in his arms.

“Thank you.” I blush and he lets go of me.

“I’m going to take a quick shower too and then we’ll leave. Please make yourself comfortable.” Colin walks away from me and I stare after him, watching him unbutton his shirt on his way to the bathroom.

“Do you need any help?” I ask playfully.

“I’ll manage, thank you.” He mimics me from earlier and it makes me chuckle. I sit down on the couch and take one of the magazines that lay on the coffee table. After a few minutes I decide to get up and put on my heels already while I wait for Colin to get ready. Just as I get back up I see Colin walk into the living room with his shirt buttoned half up.

“You need help with that?” I ask as I walk towards him and he places his hands on my hips, giving me shivers all over my spine.

“Are you going to help putting it on or taking it off, miss Young?” He flirts in his low voice as I play with the buttons.

“I want to take it off but I need you to put it on since you’re taking me out for dinner.” I look up at him and bite my lip, a groan escapes him as I run my finger over the skin on his chest. He moves his hands down and lifts me up, strangling my legs around his waist and pushes me against the wall. He presses his lips on mine and soon our tongues find their way to each other. I run my fingers through is hair and feel his c*ck grow against my damp panties. He pulls away from the kiss but buries his head in my neck right away and nibbles on my earlobe which makes me even more lustful than I already am and I can’t hold back a moan.

“Colin...” I whimper and he places me back on my feet and looks at me.

“I’m sorry baby doll. I know you don’t want to rush things but you have to stop teasing me like that.” He’s panting and turns his head away from me. I cup his face with my hands and force him to look at me.

“Don’t be sorry. I’m struggling to control myself too. It’s not that I don’t want to have s*x with you because I’m h*rny as f**k but I don’t want to regret it afterwards.” I assure him and he relaxes under my touch.

“I understand. Come on, let’s leave before we’re late.” Colin buttons up his shirt before he gives me a quick kiss on the lips and I grab my chance to take in his amazing scent. I put on my cardigan and grab my purse. We take the elevator downstairs and I see Robby waiting for us by the SUV.

“Tired of driving yourself?” I try to tease him and he glares at me while we walk towards the car.

“No, I just don’t drink and drive.” He says as he opens the door to the backseat and helps me get in before he sits next to me.

“Good evening sir, miss.” Robby greets us professionally as he gets behind the steering wheel and starts the engine.

“Good evening Robby. You know where to go.” Colin greets him and then he lays his hand on my thigh and smiles at me. We drive for about half an hour and just enjoy each other's company. Robby stops in front of a restaurant and gets out to open Colin’s door. Colin gets out and I scooch over and grab his hand to get out too. We go inside and a young man greets us.

“Good evening, did you have a reservation?”

“Yes, table for two for Mr. Davies.” Colin answers him and the man nods.

“Follow me please.” He walks in front of us and he leads us through the restaurant to the back door to the outside. I stand still for a moment and take in the view. We walked onto a wooden deck filled with small tables for two, ropes with colorful lights are draped across the big wooden pillars and a beautiful river runs along the side.

“Are you coming baby doll?” Colin’s voice pulls me out of my amazement and I shake my head. I catch up with them and we stop at a table near the edge. Colin pulls out the chair for me and I take place. He takes place opposite me and the waiter hands out two menus.

“Can I offer you the aperitif of the house while you make your choice?” The waiter looks from Colin to me.

“Yes please.” Colin answers and the waiter bows his head before he heads back inside. I open the menu and I take a look at what they have to offer.

“Do you see anything you like?” Colin asks, staring at me and I blush.

“Everything seems delicious, I don’t know what to choose.” I smile shyly as I cover my face with the menu. Colin reaches out to the menu and takes it away from me and then the waiter appears with our drinks.

“Have you made a choice?” He asks as he places the glasses in front of us and Colin looks up to him.

“We’ll start with the salmon appetizer, followed by the prime rib with seasonal vegetables and then the chocolate creme with forest fruits as dessert, please.” He tells the waiter and hands him back the menus.

“Coming right up.” The waiter takes the menus and leaves the table again with a small bow with his head.

“Colin, I saw those prices on the...” I stop mid-sentence when I see Colin glaring at me.

“I don’t want to hear it.” He says sternly and I shut my eyes down.

Why do you have so many issues with me taking care of you?” He asks as he takes my hand in his and I look back up, right into his eyes.

“I don’t know. I guess I’m just used to taking care of myself since I’ve been alone with my mother most of the time and I cared for her when she got sick.” I tell him and he squeezes my hand.

“Nora, I know we’ve met only a short time ago but you give me certain feelings that I haven’t had in a very long time. I want to see where things are going and I really just want to help you get back on track with everything. Accept this as a kickstart maybe, to give you some extra breathing space.” He gives me a look of empathy and I melt a bit on the inside.

“Ok, I’ll accept it. But I don’t want to get used to it or expect it. I like to work for my money.” I compromise with him and it seems to work since a smile appears on his face.

“Does that last sentence mean that you accept the job offer?” A grin creeps up on Colin’s face and I take a deep breath.

“You still have to convince me. What are the terms?” I ask as I fold my hands under my chin and Colin adjusts his seat.

“Well, you will be my personal assistant. Meaning you will manage my agenda, back me up on meetings and you will control the bookkeeping. You will earn a good wage and have comfortable working hours.”

“Hmm, sounds nice. Any extra benefits on the job?” I take a sip from my glass and look him straight in the eyes.

“You get to spend your days with me?” He asks casually.

“Who would want to spend their whole day with you?” I ask sarcastically and we both burst out laughing.

“You can start on Monday if you like. I leave tomorrow for a three-day business trip and will be coming back late on Friday so you can enjoy a few days off.” He runs his finger on the brim of his glass.

“Sure I will enjoy a few days of peace and quiet.” I smirk and Colin raises his eyebrow.

“Do you mean you don’t enjoy my company baby doll?” He looks stern at me.

“Of Course I do, but we’ve seen each other everyday now since the first time we met so I think it will be good for us to spend a few days apart.” I shrug and he relaxes his face again.

“I’ll miss spending time with you.” His cheeks blush a bit and the butterflies in my stomach start to flutter again.

“I’m going to miss it too. But I’m sure you will have enough on your mind with your work.” I lay my hand on his and his fingers enclose my hand immediately. We both look up as the waiter arrives with a starter.

“This looks delicious.” I say and I lick my lips and when I look at Colin I see his jaw clench.

“Don’t do that too often please.” He says quietly as the waiter leaves the table.

“What?” I ask innocently.

“Licking your lips like that. It makes me want to taste them too.” Colin’s jaw is still clenched and my cheeks go red once more.

“Let’s try to eat first, shall we?” I smile and he smiles back.
