After we had freshened up and spent the afternoon strolling through the village, we’re now driving back to Cécile’s house up the hill. I enjoyed my time together with Colin, walking along the boutiques and small restaurants.
“Shouldn’t we bring something to eat for dinner?” I ask, looking at Colin who is driving in his usual way. One hand on the steering wheel, the other one on my thigh.
“Don’t worry about that, she probably already has everything set on the table when we get there.” He answers with a smile.
“She’s literally the sweetest person I’ve ever met.”
“She is, but she can also be very strict. She doesn’t take ‘no’ for an answer and will go as far as she can to get what she wants.”
