Maggie had just gotten a silver tray from the kitchen and a variety of assorted cookies for Sarah, before returning with them. She laid them before the tired looking lady with a smile across her face. "I know you must be tired honey you look exhausted," she pointed out correctly. "This is why I got you some coffee and cookies to help replenish your spent energy." "I have your favorite." Oatmeal raisin, chocolate chip chunks with pecans, and some sugar cinnamon.
Sarah welcomed her generosity with a weak smile.
"I would have loved to sit with you and have them, but the caffeine in the coffee makes me jittery," she replied honestly. "I'm also short on time, and I need to see my mother pretty soon, Maggie, she came down with Leukemia and just had chemo-therapy from what the Dr. told me."
