Chapter 12
The Escape
That same evening, Sarah heard someone approaching the jail. She could make out a shadow and thought it was the leader of the terrorist group, ready to move them. She finally got a better glimpse of the incoming figure as he drew nearer. She then saw a silhouette, a man with a beard and long hair. Surprisingly it turned out to be Joshua.
"Joshua," she whispered in excitement. "I am glad to see you. How did you escape?"
"I picked the locks to the shackles and hid in the caves until sundown," he whispered back, looking around. "I came to get everyone out of here, but we have to be very quiet."
