I was looking towards the maid when the door opened. I turned quickly and was greeted by a smiling Henry. I smiled back, unable to hid the happiest on my face.
"I'm so sorry that I'm overdue, my love. It was difficult to tear away from court, but I am here now my princess," Henry said, approaching me. I stood and could not seem to stop myself from running into his arms. I embraced my mate, hugging him close. Henry held me close to him and inhaled my scent. He said nothing and enjoyed my embrace. I knew this moment wouldn't last forever. He would have questions, and it was past time for lunch. I should be with the court ladies, gossiping and eating. I was in our room, resting. This would offend him, I know. This was my first duty as crown princess.
