It was a windy day, Sophie watched the diamond shaped kites ducking and diving above her and thought how happy and content she felt surrounded by her children and real friends. Sophie looked down at the city spread out in front of her, in the distance she could see the massive structure of the university, proud and imposing against a cloudy skyline, lines of traffic slowly crawling around it and through the streets of Chattlesbury. The dogs skittered around her ankles, dropping muddy sticks for her to lob far and high. By the time they had walked back down the hill and reached home they were both filthy.
