Chapter Twenty-SixIt was the morning of the first exam and the university refectory was full of nervous students scanning books, trying to cram in a few precious more minutes study. Sophie sat with Juliette, waiting for the others she tapped her pencil against the edge of her polystyrene coffee cup.
“Jules I'm so nervous I've been up half the night.”
“Me too,” Juliette lifted her mass of red curls, clipping them at the nape of her neck. She was sweating and felt a little bit light headed. Pushing back her chair she stood up.
“I need food. Want anything?”
“No thanks,” Sophie took a gulp of water and watched Juliette as she joined the queue for the breakfast section.
