“Stop exaggerating,” Max sighed and picked up his latest thriller, “I suppose you mean well, but Flora it's a meal only; no after dinner party games and I want them gone, before nine o'clock.” Flora nodded happily, “okay dear. Maybe you could offer Mr Kumar a brandy – it might break the ice.” “My best brandy. The bottle I was saving for Christmas?” Max huffed and plumped up his pillow, “if I must…do they even drink alcohol?” Flora chewed her lip, “I think so, maybe I'll pop to the supermarket in the morning and purchase a bottle of non-alcoholic wine, just in case.” Max snapped off the main light and snuggled down under the covers, “I hope you know what you're doing Flora…I really do.” Will was up early the next morning to warm Esme's bottle.
