From bad to worse

Olivia woke up with sun rays hitting her face, she didn't mind though. She was happy instead because that day was the day she waited for her entire life!! The day she would be free for one day!! And maybe, when she explained everything to her father, he might realize that she was ready for a new life. A life of a normal teenage girl. She would be no more the mordern version of Rapunzel,  she would be the new version of herself, Olivia Werneck, am average young girl!!!   "Olivia, breakfast is ready!!" Olivia heard her father calling downstairs.   "I'm going dad!!"   Olivia got out of bed and to bathroom. She did her business and showered. When already washed and clean, Olivia went to her wardrobe and picked a cute outfit for her day. A lace pink dress with cute sandals. To complete her outfit, she braided her hair and put some light make up. Olivia was a girly girl and she wanted the whole world to know.   Going down the stairs, she smells the delicious aroma of fresh made breakfast. When she sat on the table, her father appeared. He was already in his suit, ready for another business meeting. Like all mornings, he gave a kiss on Olivia's forehead wishing her a good morning.    "I hope you behave yourself when I'm outside, You'll be alone with Helga and she will take care of you until I return okay?" He asked   "Okay dad, I'll be a good girl" Olivia smiled, her father didn't notice but her smile was more a mischievous one than a happy one.   When they finished eating, Olivia's father got up and said his goodbyes to his daughter. When he finally exited the door, Olivia almost jumped in joy. Time to put my plan into action she thought. Going upstairs and picking a few books from her bookshelf and searched for Helga, the housekeeper, who was eating her own breakfast at the kitchen.   "What do you want girl?? Can't you see I'm eating??" The bitter woman spoke with her heavy german accent. Olivia didn't like her one bit, but she had to pretend she cared for Helga. It was all for the plan.   "Already grumpy at this hour, Helggie?? I just came here to tell you I'm going to read in the garden."   "Just go already and let me finish my food in peace!" Helga waved her off. Olivia nodded and turned away, walking through the door that lead to garden. She heard Helga muttering something though. "This girl never stops reading, whenever she goes to that garden, she never comes back. Not even for lunch". To others, this speech would be offensive, but to Olivia, it was perfect.   Once in garden, Olivia hid her books by the tree she used to read. Then she entered her house again, but from the window. She climbed, ran to her father's office, logged in his laptop, disabled all the house's cameras so that nobody would see her escaping and returned to garden again. Her plan was flaw free(almost), her father wouldn't return before night, Helga thought that she would spend the day reading, the camera's where disabled so when her father came back, he would not see her getting out of house. She would lie that she didn't feel well and decided to go back to her room and stayed there all day. And when she felt that it was safe to reveal everything to her dad, she would do. Perfect plan.   Olivia opened "the gate to outside world" like she liked to call. She took a deep breath and made the first step. It was so exciting!! That was one small step for a normal teenager, but one giant leap to a girl like Olivia. Olivia took her first steps and already was outside the house. She felt so alive!! Like she could start dancing and singing like Rapunzel in Tangled when she first steped on ground. She could hear the music in her mind.   "Just smell the grass, the dirt, just like I dreamed they'd be   Just feel that summer breeze, the way it's calling me   For like the first time ever, I'm completely free"   It was all so unreal, for years, Olivia had dreamed about that day. And now she had fulfilled her dreams that before were thought of as insane to her. But it was not time to keep on rambling about her dreams and whatever, Olivia had to take action. She had just a day to explore, make friends and return home to later tell her father what incredible experiences she had.   ---   The city's streets where large and full of people roaming around them. It was a big town, so Olivia didn't pay mind. She then saw a very inviting bakery. The delicious smell that came out of it talked for itself. It was the perfect place to begin her adventure. She entered the bakery and first saw a huge slice of chocolate on the counter.    "Can I have this slice of cake please" Olivia asked politely.   "It'll be 3 dollars" The baker said. Olivia frowned, then she remembered that she had no money!! What a dumb idea going outside without any money. Crap"   "So...where's the money??" The baker said impatiently.   "I'm sorry, but I forgort my money. But if you give me this slice now, I'll pay you later" Olivia said sweetly, this baker could be some cheerful old man that liked to cook and share with friends. She read a book where a boy was friend of a baker.   "What are you thinking girl?? That I'm some kind of Santa Claus that goes around giving treats for everyone?? I may be fat but I'm not stupid. Go fool someone else." He wasn't what Olivia thought. And she walked away, her cheeks a light pink.   ---   Olivia didn't give uo though, the bakery was a mistake and she had no money but still, she would make something out of that day. Friends. So she walked and walked until she spotted a little boy playing on swing. She was at a park. There were various persons just enjoying themselves and the day. Olivia decided to go and talk to someone, her first "prey" would be a young looking woman she saw sitting by herself, taping something on her phone.   "Hello!" Olivia said giving her best "Let's talk" smile. The girl just turned to her and gave a quick nod, then returned to her phone.    "I'm Olivia, Olivia Werneck. It's hot today isn't it?" Again, the girl only nodded. Olivia was beginning to lose patient.    "So...you didn't tell you name. Who are you" the awkwardness was growing really fast, and Olivia was drowing in it. The girl this time, turned her head, gave a small glare and picked up a bag, taking earbuddies out of that and putting them on. Olivia understood what the girl was trying to say, so she just got up and walked away. Her day was being awful so far, it looked like in that town nobody was nice enough, even for a little chat.   ---   Olivia was disappointed, or better, she realised the world wasn't what she thought. Obviously, nobody was super gentle and kind with strangers that they just met. It was only a thing for books. But a naive girl like Olivia, who didn't even knew the taste of a burguer, believed that if she got out of her house, with a bright smile and open heart, everybody would welcome her. It was the exact opposite, Olivia had no money, she couldn't discorver the taste of things she didn't taste yet. Olivia couldn't make friends, because everyone that she tried to chat with, just looked at her with a funny expression. Even when she tried to help a old lady cross the road, the lady told her off. And then Olivia was left alone with only her thoughts. And one in particular bothered her:   How could I be so naive??   Olivia was walking through a very strange neighborhood, it seemed poorer than the other she had been in. There were some boys smoking something and others were painting the walls with ugly drawnings. Suddenly, she heard loud voices, it looked like a argument...   "You think it's funny to steal another people's belongings huh?? Now I guess I have to steal something from you as well" It was the voice of a girl, she was holding something and pointing it to a man   "P-p-p-please d-d-d-don't k-kill -m-me" The man said trembling   "I didn't allow you to talk! So why are you talking??" The girl got closer.   "D-d-d-d-don't!! I-I-I'll d-do a-a-anything!!"    "You shouldn't have robbed me. Now you're gonna pay. Burn baby" The girl smirked malisciously. Then, she shot him.   Olivia couldn't believe her eyes, she witnessed a murder. She began to tremble, them her heart raced, her palms became sweaty and then, she screamed. The scream was so loud, the girl that murdered the man turned to her. She gave Olivia a look like she was daring Olivia to do something. So Olivia did, she ran. But she didn't go far, another girl with a gun stopped her from doing so.   "Stop right now or I'll shoot you" The new girl said, two others new girls approached her. The murderer approached Olivia from behind.   "Oh, now the thing is getting exciting" The murderer whispered in Olivia's ear. The only thought that crossed her mind was:   Where's that danm frying pan when you need it
