man it's dark and my throat is so dry, does anyone hear that annoying beeping?, oh right it's a heart monitor great I'm in the hospital notice the eye roll?, well I'm awake but nobody has to know that because I already know my mother awaits me and... wait! my mate I forgot about him I must awake he's gotta be worried! I slowly opened my eyes cause come on let's not do the overdramatic, the light! the light! waking up crap I used as loud a voice as I could muster to say "juice please" yeah I know I know water is faster but I'm not doing no cliché's up in here my mate gave me some grape juice and he softly whispered "here drink up now, you must get better" the love fest was extremely short lived though when I heard my mother yell from the doorway "LILLIAN ROSANNA VALENTINE!!!" oh god "yes mother?" well that didn't sound like I used a tone at all "Do you realize what you've done?!" oh great a lecture "hmm let me think I avoided marrying a creep met my mate and decided to accept him and have him join the pack, oh wow I did that all in the same day I'm making great time! she scoffed at me "lillian this common mongrel will not join this pack, I am luna what I say is law you will not accept him and will send the rogue away!" you got another the ng coming mother! "I will not!, and you are no longer luna!, I am 18 and now have a mate that means I automatically become alpha and MY word is law!" my mother scowled at me and my mate looked about ready to intervene I was going to yell again when my mate spoke up.

christopher's P.O.V.

"ENOUGH!!!" me and my wolf grant roared "lillian do not fight with your mother on my behalf she is still your mother!" both lillian and her mother looked at me wide-eyed before lillian spoke again "no I am not losing you! I lillian rosanna valentine and wolf reyanne accept christopher and wolf grant as our mate and alpha!" as she was speaking I felt a power surge through me as well as bewilderment as to how she knew grant's name, so I spoke up " pardon me love, but, uh, how did you know grant's name?" she started giggling at me it was the most beautiful sound and I never wanted her to stop "reyanne may have told me" thank you reyanne! but my mate and it's happy moment was short lived since the luna was glaring daggers at the both of us, before abruptly storming out leaving me alone with my mate to await a doctor to come check her out my mate yawned the stated "I'm tired I know we just met but do you think maybe you can climb in and cuddle with me so I can get a good rest" oh my god! my mate just asked me to cuddle! "what are you a she wolf damn" ehh wolves "shut up grant I'm happy ok!" I then turned my attention toward my lovely mate "my dear it would be a privilege and an honor" after I climbed into her bed we both drifted off to a nice quiet sleep.
