David invited us to his eighteenth birthday party the weekend after Halloween and I gladly accepted. I need to distract myself from thinking about Ani. Curious about where he’s hiding? Why he’s hiding?
I’ve been spending my nights racking my brain, trying to connect with him, but I cannot. I know he’s alive. Every day, my heart aches from being apart. Having to keep this a secret from everyone around me is driving me insane. I have no one to talk to about it.
Needless to say, I’m so ready to go to this party. It might be nice to see some of my old classmates too. It’s an opportunity to see who would ally themselves with Ani and I.
