Beth spent the entire afternoon lecturing me about werewolf biology. She explained how the pups, which was a term for werewolf children, got their wolf right after the birth. But wolf's spirit was dormant and came to the surface at the age of 10-13. After the first contact, pups waited till the next full moon to demonstrate their first shift into wolf form. The process itself must be a pure horror because all the bones were breaking at once, but Beth ensured me it was supposed to be painful only for the first time. After the first shift, human and wolf became one and continued living in symbiosis.
