I have to get ready for the trade we are leaving in 10 minutes! I don't think I have enough time! No! I can't panic, if I panic then I'll be late. Master would be very displeased with me if we were late to the trade. "Muziki Hurry up or we will be late you know I'm not to patient". "I'm sorry master I'll be down in a moment" "hurry up or I'll come up and dress you myself!" "I'm sorry master I'm coming down now!" "good now let's go". Oh no! he said that annoyingly he's displeased this may not end well! As we got into the carriage master looked at me dead in the eyes blankly he said "you better hope we aren't late the only reason you're in this carriage is so we aren't and if we are i will have you punished immediately!" "Y-Yes s-sir" I put my head down and waited for him to look away but he never did. I started to panic and we were at the house where the trade was starting thankfully we had a few minutes until the trade began. I quickly ran inside and went to where all the other slaves were being held. Soon after one of the other slaves came in and said "Get ready they will be calling us in a moment" and stood next to me she said her names was opal. I was flustered and looked away I whispered "master told me not to talk to other slaves" she simply said ok. Suddenly one of the other slaves walked away and into the room I quickly started to listen and I was called by my master into the other room I scurried off and held my head down. As I entered the room master said "hold your head up people need to see you" "y-yes master" I looked up and saw everyone looking at me. I started to panic and then realized if I did panic then I wouldn't be able to control myself and freeze with a gross look on my face. suddenly I was brought to my senses when someone said "I'll take her" I was then told to go stand next to him he said to me "you will make the perfect gift for my son it's his birthday". I stood there for the remainder of the trade and as the trade ended he pulled me aside and said "I will get my son and introduce you guys but you may only speak when spoken to and know your place!". I nodded and looked back down he then said "good, my name is Ian and that is how you may address me or sir is fine I am not your master ok?". I nodded again and he said "stay here I will be back" I nodded once again he was very intimidating and I couldn't speak to him I was simply to scared. He came back with his son and he stood across from us and then Ian came over and pushed me into his son. His son caught me and asked "are you ok?". I stood back up quickly and nodded he nodded back and smiled at me. I then stood behind him as I should. He spoke with his father I didn't pay attention and suddenly his son started moving I quickly moved away. I followed behind him he went to his room and held the door open waiting for me to enter and I walked in. He shut the door and said "You can call me Ray my full name is Rickey" I then looked at him shocked and said" But your my master I should address you as master". He looked at me and said " Then as your master call me Ray when we are alone" I responded with "ok" I looked away and he walked closer. I looked back as he asked me "can I hug you" I asked "why would you want to do that?" he the replied with" because you seem to have been through a lot" I said "ok you may hug me". He then gently wrapped his arms around me and I wrapped mine around him I couldn't help but smile.
I have a small announcement Im making a show with my friend based off this book we don't have any episodes out yet but hoping we will be putting out our first episode soon.
