The following morning dawned bright and early. Bright and early, Sally made her way to the GlamourWave Group headquarters. The GlamourWave Group, fully aware of Sally's impressive credentials, greeted her with the utmost courtesy and respect. "Welcome to GlamourWave, Ms. Grace!" Carol from HR beamed as she extended her hand. Sally returned the smile warmly and shook Carol's hand firmly. "I must say, Ms. Grace, you're much younger and more beautiful than I imagined!" Carol complimented. Sally chuckled, "And look at you, Carol, already an HR manager at such a young age!" Kind words are never unwelcome. That's the way the business world spins! Carol chuckled as well, "Come along, let's head over to the design department!" Sally nodded. So, the two of them headed to the design department. As soon as they arrived, Carol clapped her hands, "Everyone, stop what you're doing for a moment. I have a new colleague to introduce!" Carol announced with a smile. The design team paused their work and turned to look at Carol and Sally. "Meet Sally, fresh from London, and she's joining your team!" Carol said with a smile. The design team, a mix of men and women, couldn't help but be captivated by Sally's striking presence. Yet, Sally stood humbly at the back, a serene smile gracing her lips, making it impossible for anyone to harbor any dislike. At that moment, Carol gave Sally a nod, signaling her to step forward and greet everyone. Sally stepped up, looking at them, "Hi everyone, I'm Sally. I'm really looking forward to learning from all of you..." she said with a smile. "Welcome, welcome..." someone chimed in. Sally smiled at the person. "Looks like our design department just got even more beautiful..." a male colleague joked with a smile. Carol and Sally both laughed, "Absolutely, our design department is practically a runway of handsome men and beautiful women!" Carol joked, and the entire department relaxed. Then, Carol called someone over, "Gina, Ms. Grace is new to the ropes here, so lend her a hand, will you?" Gina, a stylish woman, dressed beautifully, nodded at Carol, "Sure, I got it!" Then, Carol turned to Sally, "You can report to the president later today." Sally nodded. "Alright, dive into your work. I'll head back to my desk!" Carol said. "Yeah!" Sal nodded, officially becoming part of GlamourWave. Coco, her new colleague, was incredibly dedicated, patiently explaining everything Sal needed to know. Sal looked at her and said, "Thanks, Coco!" Coco smiled back, "No problem! If you ever have questions, just hit me up!" Sal nodded, "Sounds good!" "Alright, you get to work, and I'll do the same!" "Sure, I'll take you out for lunch sometime!" "No problem!" With a smile, Coco walked away, and Sal settled into her workspace, taking in her surroundings. She was quite pleased with the environment at GlamourWave. Sal dove into her work! Around noon, Coco came by, "Sal, want to grab lunch together? I can show you around a bit," she suggested. Seeing Coco, Sal quickly closed her files, "Sure, let's go together!" The two shared a smile and headed to the GlamourWave cafeteria. * Coco eagerly filled Sal in on everything about GlamourWave, including what was good to eat at the cafeteria and what wasn't. Sal found Coco quite endearing. At least, she didn't seem like someone with hidden agendas. Over lunch, Coco turned to Sal and asked, "I heard you came back from London and won a lot of awards there. That's impressive!" Coco genuinely praised her. Sal smiled at Coco's words, "If it were you, you could do it too!" Coco felt quite pleased with the compliment. "Well, I don't know about that, but studying abroad is my dream!" she said with determination, striving for that dream. "Getting into GlamourWave is no easy feat; many people would do anything to get in. Your presence here is a testament to your capabilities!" Sal said. Coco nodded with a smile, feeling quite pleased with Sal's words, "That's true!" "Even though GlamourWave has only been around for two years, reaching this level is no small feat. But looking ahead, GlamourWave is definitely on an international trajectory!" Sal nodded, "I believe it. I had already heard of GlamourWave when I was in London!" That's why she chose to work here. Coco chuckled, "Did you know our CEO is quite the young heartthrob?" Coco asked with a grin. Sal shook her head, admitting she hadn't really looked into that. "He's definitely more dashing than a movie star, and he's only twenty-six! Young, with great skills, he founded and grew GlamourWave himself. He's the dream guy for all the women in our company!" Coco said with a laugh.Sal chuckled, "Then you better act fast!" "Everyone's trying hard, but I'm just here to admire from a distance," Coco replied with a laugh. Sal smiled back, and Coco added, "You'll see what I mean when you meet him!" Sal nodded. Then Coco suddenly mentioned, "But, I heard our CEO was married before, though he's divorced now..." Hearing this, Sal paused, wondering if it could really be such a coincidence. She didn't press for more details, and they quickly finished their meal before heading back to work. In the afternoon, Sal received a call asking her to report to the CEO's office. She grabbed her documents and headed over. As she approached the office door, a soft, feminine voice drifted out, "Luke, can I go with you to the party the day after tomorrow?" The voice was sweet but carried a hint of tension. Sal hesitated at the door, wondering if someone was inside. "If your hand goes any lower, there'll be trouble..." came a deep, magnetic male voice. Sal froze in the doorway, stunned by the implications of what she heard. Did she hear that right? This was the CEO's office! "What's the matter? Can't handle it? I just want to stir things up, Luke, love me, won't you..." The woman's voice was tender and alluring. Even without seeing, Sal could vividly picture the scene unfolding inside. She hadn't expected the CEO of GlamourWave to be like this, especially in the office! Or maybe, she mused, all CEOs were cut from the same cloth, and she should just accept it. "Mm..." The man's low voice came again. Sal snapped back to reality, feeling her cheeks heat up. She decided it was best to come back later than to risk disturbing the CEO in his fiery mood. "Erin, this is the office!" the man said, his voice still somewhat restrained but firm. "Alright, I'll keep you company another day!" With that, the door suddenly swung wide open. And there was Sal, standing at the entrance, just about to turn and leave.
