As Luke watched Sally, he couldn't help but let out a chuckle. He realized that this woman was becoming more and more intriguing.
Without saying another word, he started the car and drove out of the parking lot.
He didn't even ask Sally what she wanted to eat; instead, he drove straight to a Western restaurant.
At nine o'clock, it was the perfect time for a date.
When they arrived, the restaurant was packed, but since Luke was a VIP, there was always a reserved spot for him.
Sally didn't mind; since Luke was treating, she was just there to enjoy the meal.
"Mr. Makenzie, this way!" The manager led them to a prime spot.
Luke sat there like royalty, and Sally took her seat across from him.
"Mr. Makenzie, please wait a moment while we take your order," the manager said respectfully.
