Sally stayed silent, not saying a word.
"How's the design sketch coming along?" Luke asked just as the elevator chimed open. Sally stepped out first, "Don't worry, Mr. Makenzie, I'll have the design ready on time!" she said with a smile, turning to head towards the design department.
Luke stood in the elevator, watching her, a slight smile playing on his lips, before he too stepped out and headed to his office.
Sally wasn't used to staying up late, and after a sleepless night, she felt completely out of sorts, her mind in a haze.
