VALESKA
It was midnight at around 3AM and the rain had stopped pouring heavily. Just a drizzle, bringing a little cold into the room.
Somehow, I felt the chill on my skin, and that got me opening my eyes, waking up from my sleep.
"Mmm," I moaned sleepily, lifting my head from Dante's chest to look at the window.
It wasn't open, but the cold from outside found its way inside.
I wanted to get up and make sure the window was completely shut, but I couldn't move because of Dante's arm.
It was around me, holding me down and still keeping me warm.
I wasn't fully on his body but laying halfway off him. It seems when we fell asleep, I turned and ended up by his side, and he made sure his arms didn't let go of me either.
My face lit up when I recalled the beautiful embrace we had.
