Later, I showed up to the station which almost looked empty, and met a few officers around, taking the night shift.
I saw Scarlet all dressed and ready to leave, talking to a few male officers, before spotting me coming.
She rolled her eyes, grabbed a first aid box, and dumped it in my hands, saying, "Go meet your patient."
She threw me a snarl before leaving the station.
I held on tight to the box, letting out a sigh before walking ahead to the end of the station.
Then I came busting out, heading for the prison block, as feelings from that night came flowing back in me, making my legs go weak with each step I made.
The prison was a little bit dark. The lights were turned off. Only the security lights were on.
This was done when it's time for prisoners to head to bed.
