THE BEGINNING

My name is Raquel Oriad, illegitimate daughter of billionaire mafia king Micheal Oriad and ordinary working woman Maria Eluna. Yeah, yeah the first thing I introduce myself as is 'illegitimate' but what can I do,I'm always reminded of that fact, and no! I'm not one of those kids sidelined by their families, so as to not get anything from the vast property of my dad but instead I am the heir, yeah me! Not just because I'm his only living child but also because, one. I'm drop dead gorgeous and two. I'm crazy intelligent, like the kind where as a child you were taught something only high schoolers would know,but there's just one problem I'm still 17, uggghhh! why!!, I know others would find the pressure of being the heir to a multi-billion dollar company a little bit nerve rocking but I'm a little different and crazy. Wait, where was this story supposed to begin? Oh yeah, right now!

"Raquel! Raquel!". Oh no he's angry, I just feel it and by 'he' I mean my personal butler and best friend Leo, I wonder what he wants now. As I pace down the stairs, I see his angry yet kinda cute face staring right at me. "What have you been doing? Don't you know we're late". "What now?".As I reply to his seemingly confusing question. "For school, you dumbo" Oh, right that's today as I remember the conversation I had with my dad "Raquel after the stunt you pulled at your other school you are very lucky any school with a reputation is willing to accept you now" "But dad..." "No buts, you are going to school tomorrow and that is it ...but remember no telling anybody..." "About being an Oriad, I know you've told me this like a million times already". " I just want you to be safe, you know after what happened to your brother, we can't be too safe". "Dad, I know you care but sometimes it's a bit much". "Yeah, yeah I've told Leonardo to take care of all the paperwork at your new school and...". "What are you thinking of we are already late, let's go". I wonder why he keeps saying 'We', he always hides, stays in the background, watching and reporting to dad but I know he cares. As I walk to the pathway a line of bullet proof cars come In waiting for me to get in but as usual my bike is all I need. "Not again". Leonardo says as he stares at me, but that's how I am. As we head off to school, with me being followed by a group of cars, which is totally off since my father does not want people to know that I'm the only heir of a top secret group, but it's kinda obvious now, don't you think?. As I pull over at the parking spot for bikes, I watch as my security try to find a parking spot among the limited parking space, I begin to laugh until one of the cars knocks off a boy around my age to the floor, I rush over to help him and oh boy he's hot, but he shoves me off and says "Why are you helping? It's not your fault, it's the rich kid about to get off that car that should apologize". And immediately Leonardo comes out of the car wearing his long and angry face and tells the boy "how dare you!?" Then looks at me and asks "Are you alright?, is he troubling you?" But I hit his head and tell him to apologize immediately, but before Leonardo could raise his head up, the boy leaves. Then Leonardo looks at me and says "I've told you to stop being so kind, not everybody appreciates..." But before he could finish, I run off to see the inside of my new crib, but Leonardo eventually catches up and as soon as I get inside, I stop and notice everyone looking at us and think 'Oh no, I think they found out, I told Leonardo he should be careful' but he nudges me and says "Just keep walking and no getting into things that are not your business".We are a few steps away from the teachers room when we hear someone yelling like a crazy person, like really I may have been expelled from almost every school possible but this is just crazy. I mean what could a student possibly do to make a teacher yell at him so much. We enter the teachers room and what I least expected happened. A teacher was getting smacked on the head and cursed at like he was a freaking animal. "A C- , a C- like are you crazy or just want to die early, how can I, Armando Arez, get a C- " As he continues to hit him, the teacher begins to bleed and I just can't take it anymore. I walk up to Armando as he is about to deliver another cruel blow to the teacher. "What the hell do you think you're doing?" "Who's this little f*cker? ", "What did you just call me?" "What are you going to do about it?". Just as he is about to hit me across the face with a stapler, Leo steps in just in time... I mean before I totally whip his butt. "Whoa, whoa, I don't think that's a good idea" "Not another bastard" "Wait, is that it?, continue so that when I file a complaint against you for verbal harassment and assault, I'll have a lot to say and look at that, cameras are everywhere, so please continue and yes, I guess your dad won't want his little brat stopping him from winning the elections... again". What did you just say, I'm gonna... " Just as Armando is about to throw a punch that could have been really nasty for Leonardo, his sidekicks intervene and whisper something into his ears, which makes him leave with a pathetic warning. "Watch your back, cause that's where I'm heading". Like what was that, whatever!. Leo faces me with a concerned look but I shove him and attend to the injured teacher on the floor. "Are you okay?, why do you allow someone like him to do that to you?... and all of you were watching as all this was happening..." "Stop! Who do you think you are, coming here and flaunting how heroic you are, you think I can't defend myself." "But sir...". He walks out on me as I keep talking and I am shocked, can you just imagine, no one values kindness anymore. Leo looks at me with that 'I told you so face', which makes me even more annoyed and I just leave, leaving all the formalities to Leo. As I storm out of the teachers room, a girl approaches me. "Hi, love what you did there for the CT, but you do know what you did there right?" "Yeah, so what?". She giggles and I just walk past, but she runs after me. "So you really don't know..." "For goodness sake, what!." She sighs and her cringey smile disappears "That guy... he is the Armando Arez" kinda figured that out already, so..." "No, you don't, his father is Sanchez Arez, the leader of the third most dangerous mafia gang in the city". Wait, I think I've heard that name before, but I just can't put my finger on it. "So girl, if you know what's good for you, stay away from him" A pink headed girl who has been at an arms length of the both of us, approaches us "Carlie... your scaring her. Hi, I'm Roni and this socially awkward girl is Carlie, but before I forget as usual you are... "Raqu... Rachel!, Rachel Quinn". Whoo, almost forgot. "Oh nice to meet you Rachel, but who's that cute guy that has been staring at you" "Oh never mind him, he's just.." But as I was about to complete my sentence Leo approaches us, then holds Roni's hand and kisses it, what a playboy " Hi, I'm Leon, her distant cousin, but you can call me whatever you want", it was Roni's hand he kissed, so why was Carlie's face turning red. I walk away, but the three of them follow me.
