Oliver carries me back to the fort and he hands me an oversized t-shirt to cover myself while he slips on some shorts.
We walk hand in hand, a warmth surrounding us. I feel like I can breathe better now that he knows how I truly feel. We stop by the fountain so I can inform him of the scalpel’s final resting place.
Oliver picks me up bridal style, pulling my oversized t-shirt over my butt so as not to expose my bare body and walks up the stairs to our floor. My heart beats faster as he gets closer to our room and I muster up some courage to kiss him softly. He smiles against my lips and carries me straight to the bed. An explosion of butterflies goes off in my tummy as he sets me down gently and I realize we are completely alone. Rio must have gone off to the office
