OUR NEXT CLASS WAS Sixty-Six, Taught by Brother Thurgood. Brother Thurgood rocked a friendship bracelet, entwine with red, black, and green-colored thread.
He stood in the hall. “Hello, hello, everyone! Please, come in and take a seat!”
Once again, I got the chance to sit next to Mandela. Beautiful crosses adorned the classroom walls.
“Welcome to Sixty-Six. This class is about the most important sixty-six books ever written.”
Brother Thurgood went behind his desk and pulled out a black book from the drawer. He then came from around the desk. He raised the book. “The Bible, 39 Old Testament books and 27 New Testament
books, forms the Canon of Holy Scriptures!”
God! This class was about God! I didn’t know what to feel, because I didn’t know him well.
