I am aching all over and my head is splitting...as though I had not slept all night. A wave of memory and feeling crushed down on me and I suddenly recall something. I looked at my body beneath the warm blanket and saw nothing but my nakedness. My palm touches my neck, unconsciously feeling the traces of Jace's marks on it.
