Jace had been unconscious for two weeks at this point. This was supposed to be the date when we would launch the attack. However, there appears to be a change of plans because the person we are obligated to assist is in the hospital bed. Doc Riego stated it would take a week for Jace to wake up, but he's still sleeping. I wonder if it's normal or if he falls into a coma. But Doc says that we should give him time to heal. Perhaps the wound was too much for his body to bear.
"Solene, can we talk?" Cleon said as soon as he entered Jace's unit. I followed him outdoors, despite my confusion. It's a marvel that the arrogant Alpha has approached me now after giving me a cold shoulder for the last two weeks. I didn't apologize for what I did though...that's the reason.
