It was already beyond 8 a.m., and I was fully prepared, only waiting for my mother to fetch me here. I surveyed the surroundings once more, smiling at my newfound knowledge. For the time being, I was content, even if this was part of my penance. My heart has failed to see that there's more to hatred and pain and heartbreak.
