"The heat here is affecting their mating process." I get up and collect a napkin from Alex, which I use to clean my hand that I just washed with the soap and water at the tap outside. "Even if they do mate, they would have a hard time giving birth. Get something done here. The heat makes them uncomfortable."
Alex jots down the things I said, nodding in agreement to my suggestion.
"It will be fixed," he assures me as we begin to walk out of the shed. "Thanks for taking time out of your day to check on us." Alex smiles brightly at me, and I return with a small smile of my own.
"It's not a problem. Have a nice day, Alex," I bid him before walking away from the sty.
