Talia tugged at her Renegades jersey that was starting to get snug around her growing middle. She was nearing the end of her first trimester, and some of her clothes weren’t fitting the same. She debated wearing it or opting for a team hoodie. Next game she’d choose the hoodie.
She always loved the playoff atmosphere at games. The fans were more energized than ever, towels being waved, and lots of cheering. She’d been to many playoff games for Tyler over the years, but none measured up to the Renegades fans.
“How’ve you been feeling?” Kat asked, as she sat down beside her.
Talia smiled. “I’m good,” she replied, even though she’d recently had a meltdown about how she was worried that she was going to be a terrible mother and ruin this baby. “Yeah, status quo.”
