CHAPTER THREETalia Talia sat in the doctor’s office with Harrison at her side. Her heart thudded against her chest. Her stomach was a mess. She was unsure if the churning was due to the nausea she’d been experiencing, or if nerves had taken over. Or both. There was no way a pregnancy could be happening. Not at forty. And they were practically still newlyweds. A small part of her was excited and was hopeful for the outcome.
