"I just wanted to let you know. I didn't expect you to come with me. It's fine if you didn't get the call," Vanya said, wanting to avoid an argument here.
"If you're here to apologize, I forgive you. Can we go now?"
Cliff was momentarily speechless and could only step aside.
Vanya and Grace got into the car and soon drove into the parking lot.
Cliff watched Vanya leave, then checked his phone. There were no missed calls from today.
He frowned, recalling waking up this morning groggy and seeing Melinda naked beside him……
Cliff massaged his temples and called Elliot.
Elliot answered quickly. "Check if there was any trouble at the Dalton family dinner today. Report back immediately," Cliff ordered.
